BURN STATION is an installation and an act in favor of free culture that is based on the development of software for the operative system GNU/Linux and a local server. This kit for the free distribution-diffusion of audio-text behaves as a digital content self-service station. It is a local database for mp3 and text that makes automatic the process of selection and burning of files. With the same motto “taking the Internet to the streets” we try to make visible the ways in which the Web is produced showing its very modes of independent diffusion and distribution based on open licenses.

CULTURA LIBRE is a library about free culture in Spanish. All the texts hosted are related to the several areas of influence of Intelectual Property law and to its influence on the development of the plastic arts, music, literature, digital creation, film, language and popular culture. Articles, essays, interviews and books from a wide range of origins have been chosen with the double goal of introducing the neophyte to the last years of this debate, and to provide materials to those whose interestes require a more especialized documentation.
